Fall Party and Annual Meeting
The Homes Association fall party and annual meeting was held on Sunday, September 25, 2011, and was a great success. We enjoyed pizza and a fajita bar, along with lots of fun activities for the kids and great weather. Representatives of the Police and Fire Departments were there. A summary of topics from the homeowners meeting will be posted here shortly.
Thank You!
The Oxford Hills Home Owners Association and Residents thank Ken Lopez, resident and owner of K.L. Electric, for his continued support of our Subdivision by continuing to provide excellent service and superior products. Recently we had necessary repairs that needed to be completed due to animals chewing through landscape lighting cables, causing problems leading to a power surge to our electrical panels. GFI's, Cables and Power Cords were replaced. K.L. Electric once again has donated his time and materials to ensure our neighborhood remains beautiful. Thank you very much for your efforts Ken.
We would also like to pass along our gratitude to Warren & Betty Jane Krueger for the beautiful work they did landscaping and planting the monuments at 119th and Wenonga. This was purely a volunteer basis, and they continue to maintain them. We appreciate your dedication to keeping our neighborhood looking beautiful to all. Thanks!!

New Oxford Hills Logo
We are pleased to unveil the new Oxford Hills logo shown on the home page. We wanted
something unique to help identify and unify our neighborhood that could also be used for
the Directory, the neighborhood garage sale, and other community events and activities.
We hope you like it as much as we do.
Recycling
Some board members attended the Leawood Green Initiatives meeting hosted by Mayor Dunn at Ironwoods. We heard that plastic bags (i.e. glad bags, grocery bags, target, Wal-Mart and Lowes bags) are NOT recyclable. They really mess up the conveyor system used for recycling. Also, at this time, glass is not acceptable either. We will notify everyone if this changes.
Work on Monuments
Monument restoration is now complete and the results are fantastic. Take a moment to check them out! The restoration project included new landscaping, lighting repair, sealing of stonework, and sign painting.
